How are Nootka Saunas delivered?
Our saunas are shipped via specialized freight carriers. They typically arrive as a prefabricated kit on a pallet, designed for easy curbside delivery and assembly.
What kind of electrical requirements are there?
Most of our traditional electric saunas require a dedicated 240V line installed by a licensed electrician. Our wood-fired models do not require electricity unless you choose to add interior lighting.
What type of wood is used in your saunas?
We exclusively use high-grade, sustainably sourced Western Red Cedar and Nordic Spruce, chosen for their natural resistance to moisture, decay, and heat retention.
How long does it take to assemble a sauna kit?
With two people, most of our barrel and cabin saunas can be fully assembled in 4 to 8 hours using basic household tools.
Do you offer a warranty on your products?
Yes, all Nootka Saunas come with a 5-year limited warranty on the wooden structure and a manufacturer's warranty on the heating units, typically ranging from 1 to 2 years.
Can the sauna be placed on any surface?
We recommend a firm, level surface such as a concrete pad, heavy-duty wooden deck, or a crushed stone foundation to ensure structural integrity and proper drainage.
